Bible Study/Small Groups
Bible study is an important part of who we are at Highlawn. In addition to Sunday mornings, a Bible study class meets each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in our chapel. Walking through Scripture week-by-week is our goal.
The current events of today as they relate to each of us are discussed each Sunday evening in a relaxed setting in our Faith Café. Each topic is discussed in conjunction with Scripture with spirited participation from everyone.
Eleven different adult ministry teams are available for each person to be a part and utilize their God-given gifts in service to God’s kingdom at Highlawn. Youth and adults can be a part of one or more of these ministry teams:
Adult Team: a group who guides the discipleship of our adults.
Building and Grounds Team: a group who provides hands-on care for our facilities.
Care Team: a compassionate group who provides for the needs through a kind word or gesture to our shut-ins, our sick, or others in need in our church family.
Children’s Team: a group who guides the discipleship of our children.
