Adult & Family Ministries

Come join one of our many adult and family ministry opportunities; we’re sure there is one or several just right for you in your Christian walk!

Worship Ministries
Every Sunday Morning we have a Worship Service at 10:30 AM which includes both traditional and contemporary music.
Sunday School – Our Adult Sunday School is elective based and meets each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. Called Know2Grow, these classes meet over a period of 6 to 12 weeks, based on the curriculum used. Elective topics will vary from books of the Bible to various topical studies such as grace, love, the names of God, outreach, etc. The classes are structured around four categories: God’s Word, relationships, outward action, and worship.

Sunday School
– Our youth join with our adults on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. as they are discipled through our Know2Grow elective classes. Elective classes are offered for periods that vary from 6 weeks to 12 weeks at a time and cover topics from the books of the Bibles as well as topical studies such as grace, love, the names of God, outreach, etc.

Bible Study/Small Groups
Bible study is an important part of who we are at Highlawn. In addition to Sunday mornings, a Bible study class meets each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in our chapel. Walking through Scripture week-by-week is our goal.

Faith Cafe
The current events of today as they relate to each of us are discussed each Sunday evening in a relaxed setting in our Faith Café. Each topic is discussed in conjunction with Scripture with spirited participation from everyone.
